Biotech Marketing firm looking for person with at least a B.S. in the Life Sciences or Biological Sciences (masters degrees given preference) and biological sciences laboratory experience ( M.D.s, diagnosticians or clinicians need not apply) to carry out technical lead generation and lead qualification through telephone conversations with scientists. Qualified candidates will often possess laboratory skills in genomics, proteomics and or the drug discovery area.

Computer/internet and land line or VoIP telephone set up a must, with a long distance calling package or the ability to obtain one, as is having excellent and telephone communication skills and a fluid, comfortable manner of speaking. Research through the internet and list populating may be part of the position. Must exhibit attention to detail, be fluent with Microsoft Excel, be efficient in telephoning and putting conversation details into Excel. Additionally, it is expected that regular communication occur between compass and the representative through telephone and email so the candidate must available to discuss projects at fairly regular intervals during the week. Hours are very flexible between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday; hours per week dependent on number and type of projects, but are usually about 20 hours a week, with the possibility of more work if it is available and desired. The work and training is carried out from home.
